The government of Kazakhstan shuts down Borat's website: www.borat.kz
Well, so much for Kazakhstan calling itself a free and civilized country. Seems like they are still a few light years away from realizing what freedom of speech is. The bastards shut down www.borat.kz. I guess we have to wait until Borat: The Movie comes out to see what Borat thinks. I somehow doubt that our "free" citizens of Kazakhstan are going to be able to watch that flick at a local movie theatre. I also wonder if Kazakhstan is going to try to sue Sacha Cohen, "Borat," for the lost revenue stream their "computer programmer" usually produces from milking goats since he had to dedicate that time to shutting down the website instead.
